JLR is developing a new cyclist detection technology that uses sensors around the car to spot potential dangers and alert the driver through vibration in the shoulder of the seat, pedal or door handle, and audio alerts such as a bicycle bell from a speaker in the side of the car on which the cyclist is passing.
