2015 BMW 6-Series Facelifted

After numerous spy shots BMW finally has taken the wraps off the facelifted 6-series that has been officially introduced ahead of the Detroit Motor Show 2015.
Despite the facelift the car looks almost the same and that is a result of the minor tweaks that BMW made.

To begin with they have altered the front bumper while the front kidney grille has been slightly modified with nine vertical bars instead of ten (10), while at the back the bumper has gone through mild surgery. Also the Adapted Full-LED units come as standard while tail lights have been revised for the 2015 model.
Final visual modifications the Bavarian marque made are the redesigning of the lower splitter, air intakes and air intake surrounds. Furthermore, the wing mirrors have been modified with the integrated side indicators also modified.
New 17-inch wheels are available for the six-cylinder models whereas the V8 versions will get 18-inch rims while new multi-spoke 20-inch alloys are an extra option.
Additionally, BMW has introduced a number of optional packages for the 6-Series facelift. These include the Black Accent Package which adds gloss black to the grille, exhaust pipes and window surrounds as well as Cognac/Black leather alongside wood trim in the cabin.

In the end engines will be carried away from the pre-facelifted model. To revise the V6 (BMW 640i) engine delivers 315 hp while the V8 (BMW 650i) is powered by a more potent twin-turbocharged V8 with 445 hp.
There is also a more beefier V8 that comes along with the M6 badge. This particular engine produces 560 HP (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) granting the M6 with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) which can be increased to 189 mph (305 km/h) when configured with the optional M Driver’s Package.
