Rumors: Strange BMW Is FWD Z2

We posted few days ago about a strange prototype BMW, which it might be the new Z5. Now after two days the photos publiced there are rumors that this mysterious model is not the Z5.
Even though fans state it is the Z5 or even the new Z3, Auto Motor Und Sport states something interesting.
According to the magazine it might be the Z2, which it will be launched in 2016 and ride on a FWD platform, and it will be 15 centimeters shorter than the M235i hence the shorter wheelbase. It is rumored to be powered by the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine - that develops 231 PS (170 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
Interestingly, the magazine says the Z2 will ride on the front-wheel drive UKL platform that underpins the MINI Cooper and 2-Series Active Tourer.
