2014 European Car of the Year shortlist published.

Winner to be announced on March 3

The Car of the Year jury has selected seven finalists for the 2014 title which will be awarded at the Geneva Motor Show.
At the beginning of September the COTY jury announced 30 candidates for the 2014 award and now they have narrowed it down to just seven cars. In alphabetical order, the finalists for the 2014 COTY are: BMW i3, Citroën C4 Picasso, Mazda3, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Peugeot 308, Skoda Octavia and the Tesla Model S.
58 members from 22 European countries are part of the jury and they will further analyze each and every car before making a decision. The winner will be announced on March 3, 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. As a reminder, this year's winner was the seventh-gen Volkswagen Golf.
