Could be a preview of the company's Super Bowl commercial
Audi has a history of sparring with BMW and Mercedes, so it comes as little surprise that the four-ringed brand has decided to attack their rivals in the latest promotional videos for theA3 Sedan.
Likely a preview of the company's Super Bowl commercial, the clip reveals people drive theBMW 3-Series and Mercedes CLA because of "peer pressure, friends and unsolicited e-mails." The clip then delves into sexual innuendo as customers reveal they are waiting for the A3 Sedan to be launched, in the United States, in April.
As we have previously reported, the US-spec A3 Sedan will cost $29,900 and come nicely equipped with leather seats, a panoramic glass sunroof and a six-speed S tronic transmission. Detailed performance specifications haven't been released but Audi has confirmed the model will be offered with a 1.8-liter TFSI, a 2.0-liter TFSI and a 2.0-liter TDI.
