Driven for 12,117 miles
A 2005 Porsche Carrera GT modified by Gemballa has been listed on JamesEdition with an asking price of 569,000 EUR (about 782,000 USD or 475,000 GBP).
Very few aftermarket specialists ever had the courage to fiddle with Porsche's Carrera GT and one of the examples is Gemballa and its Mirage package. They upgraded the V10 5.7-liter engine to 650 bhp (485 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) which has resulted in a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.7 seconds, making it 0.2s quicker than the stock version. The supercar needs 9.7 seconds to get from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) and it will continue to accelerate until hitting a top speed of more than 208 mph (335 km/h).
Gemballa created several upgrade packages for the Carrera GT and this particular car is a 2005 model which has been driven for only 12,117 miles (19,500 km). It wears a different body kit and packs a carbon fiber diffuser together with four plasma-coated tailpipes and a 45mm electrohydraulic lifting system. It rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloys and has been equipped with a rear view camera.
