On sale next year in China

The Citroën DS 5LS has been photographed at a Shenzhen highway toll, following the car's public debut earlier this month in Paris.

Despite being unveiled in France, Citroën doesn't have any plans to offer the DS 5LS in Europe as at least for now it will remain a China-only model. Judging by the rear plate, the vehicle seen in this photo is one of the show cars from the Paris event going to Shenzhen where the DS 5LS will be produced by the Changan-PSA joint venture.

The cabin will host premium materials combined with metallic and wood trim accents, as well as semi-aniline leather upholstery and reclining rear seats. Passengers will also benefit from a rear-seat entertainment system, an air purifier and massaging front seats.

Scheduled to hit the market in March, the Citroën DS 5LS will be offered with THP 160 and THP 200 gasoline engines mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
