These could very well be patent photos depicting the new Porsche 911 Targa set to come out next year.
It looks pretty much like you would imagine after seeing numerous spy photos in the last couple of years showing the 991 Targa is going to adopt a retro look. The vehicle will have a removable section and will feature a bulky B-pillar along with a fixed glass rear window that has a wraparound configuration, as seen on the classic models.
All sources lead to a 2014 launch with two engine choices: a flat-six 3.4-liter with 350 HP (257 kW) and 288 lb-ft (390 Nm) along with a more powerful 3.6-liter with 400 HP (294 kW) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm) in the 911 Targa S variant.
We won't be surprised if Porsche will show the new 911 Targa in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.
