BAC opens their new factory in Liverpool, should allow 100 Monos to be built annually

Should create at least 60 new jobs

BAC has officially opened their new production facility in Liverpool, England.
The 11,000 sq ft facility, in the Speke Hall Industrial Estate, will enable the company to produce approximately 100 Monos annually by 2015. The move should also create sixty new manufacturing jobs, apprenticeship opportunities and regional supplier opportunities.
According to BAC co-founder Neill Briggs, “Everyone at BAC is thrilled and full of pride about our move to Liverpool – the new home of the Mono supercar. This fantastic facility - allied with the recruitment of highly skilled individuals - will allow us to meet sales demand from across the globe."
His sentiments were echoed by Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson who remarked "We’ve worked hard for over a year, through my Mayoral Investment Fund, to bring BAC to Liverpool, and I’m absolutely delighted that it’s now all systems go for their first-class manufacturing facility. I can’t wait for production of the Mono to officially get underway."
