To rival the Audi A5 Sportback
Theophilus Chin has returned with several renders of the rumored Mercedes-Benz C-Class SportCoupe revival.
About two months ago we talked about a report indicating Mercedes-Benz plans to bring back to life the "SportCoupe" moniker on the new C-Class and unlike the previous iteration which had three doors, the new model is expected to feature a five-door configuration. The same report mentioned the vehicle will be based on the upcoming long wheelbase version of the China-spec C-Class so expect the car to have more legroom for rear passengers.
Theophilus Chin digitally illustrated a possible look for the C-Class SportCoupe which will have to tackle the Audi A5 Sportback. The vehicle looks considerably sleeker than the standard C-Class thanks to a more sloping roofline at the back and it certainly has its room in Mercedes-Benz's C-Class lineup which will be expanded in the near future with estate and coupe versions.
