Cadillac has officially unveiled the 2016 CTS-V after the teaser photos a
couple days ago and it will debut at North American International Auto
Show 2015 next month.
In order to compete with other luxury cars, such as the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG, CTS-V features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 640hp (477 kW) and 855 Nm (630 lb-ft) of torque. The power is channeled to the rear wheels via a paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission, featuring launch control and Performance Algorithm Shifting, which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96kmh) in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 mph (322 kmh).
