The new Ford Mustang has arrived, but that also sadly means that the 662 horsepower Mustang Shelby GT500 will soon exit the scene. For a car that’s powered by the most powerful production V8 currently on the market, a proper farewell is very much in order. Perhaps there’s no better place for that to happen than at the season finale of the Nationwide NASCAR series. We don’t know when Shelby GT500 production will cease, but the departure of it from the scene will be a huge loss for everyone.
