We still haven't gotten over this one, and probably never will.
Unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the 778 hp Jaguar C-X75 was everything a modern Jaguar supercar should be. Powered by four electric motors whose batteries were recharged by a pair of diesel-fueled turbine engines, it was also a technological masterpiece. Jaguar was serious about building a limited number, and for a time it seemed likely to happen. Sadly, the business case wasn’t there and Jaguar ditched the project entirely. Our hearts will ache forever.
