Model will apparently receive a minor facelift
The 2014 MINI Cooper might be getting all the attention but that doesn't mean the company has forgotten about the Countryman.
According to Autoguide, MINI will unveil an updated Countryman at the New York Auto Show. Details are limited but MINI spokesman Rob Duda told the website we can expect mostly cosmetic upgrades. Duda went on to say the model will also receive higher quality materials and new equipment.
While nothing is official, the changes should help to keep the model relevant until the next-generation Countryman arrives in a year or two.
