Audi S7 facelift spied near the Nurburgring

Could come out later this year

Our latest spy photographs show Audi is preparing a modest facelift for the S7 Sportback.
It was only yesterday when we published spy shots of the upcoming S6 facelift and now the sleeker S7 has been grabbed on camera while testing in Germany near the Nürburgring. The model still feels quite fresh since it effectively went on sale in the spring of 2012 but even so Audi is working on a nip and tuck which will likely take cues from the recently introduced S8 facelift.
The company's matrix LED headlights will probably be offered along with an updated front fascia featuring a resculpted hood and modified bumper. For the interior cabin Audi is most likely preparing an updated MMI system together with new trim and upholstery offerings.
At this moment it's not known whether the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter TFSI engine will be upgraded from the current 420 PS (309 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft). The engine works with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox and a quattro all-wheel drive system which propels the S7 Sportback to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds before hitting an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
An official reveal should occur later this year, possibly in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
