Production will end in September
The Mitsuoka Orochi has been unceremoniously named the world's ugliest automobile but the company has just announced plans to end production in September.
To celebration the occasion, the company will offer five Final Editions that have a Gold Pearl or "Fuyoru-o" exterior as well as a front lip spoiler, a rear wing and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interior changes are limited but include two-tone leather and Alcantara seats, metallic trim and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel.
Like the standard model, the Final Edition is powered by a Toyota-sourced 3.3-liter V6 engine that develops 233 PS (172 kW) and 328 Nm (242 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power the rear wheels.
The Orochi Final Edition will go on sale in Japan on April 25th and pricing starts at ¥12,700,000 ($124,180 / € 89,890).
