Peugeot Exalt concept revealed ahead of Beijing debut

Stylish four-door coupe

Peugeot has accidentally revealed the Exalt four-door coupe prior to the concept’s debut scheduled for later this month at Beijing Motor Show in China.
We say accidentally because the French marque was supposed to send an e-mail with details and photos of the concept on April 10 but they did it a few days earlier. Some of you may remember Peugeot teased this concept back in January and they said it would serve as a follow-up for the Onyx.
Now they have prepared an appealing four-door coupe featuring a Hybrid4 powertrain encompassing a gasoline engine and an electric motor providing a combined output of 340 PS (250 kW). Peugeot is describing the concept's body as an "association of crude steel and an efficient textile, Shark Skin, inspired by the structure of shark skin." Photos of the interior are not available at this point but expect to find a combination of textiles, leathers, raw steel and ebony.
The Peugeot Exalt concept will make its public debut on April 20 during the press day of the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
