2015 Cadillac Escalade gets detailed, will offer three trim levels.


The ultimate luxury SUV?

Cadillac has released some new details about the 2015 Escalade.
Set to go on sale next spring, the entry-level Escalade will come nicely equipped with LED headlamps, a hands-free tailgate and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The SUV also has a rear view camera, park assist, Magnetic Ride Control and an adaptive remote starting system.
Inside, there's leather upholstery, heated / cooled front seats and a leather-wrapped steering. Other highlights include a digital instrument cluster, a CUE infotainment system and a Bose audio system.
Moving up to the Luxury variant adds IntelliBeam headlights, a sunroof and 22-inch alloy wheels. The model also has a color heads-up display, power fold-and-tumble second row seats and a Driver Awareness Package that includes a Safety Alert Seat, a Lane Departure Warning system and Forward Collision Alert.
The range-topping Premium boasts all the aforementioned equipment as well as illuminated exterior door handles, a rear seat entertainment system and a Driver Assist Package with Automatic Collision Preparation, Automatic Braking and Full-speed Adaptive Cruise Control.
Regardless of which model is selected, all are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 420 bhp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system.
