Corvette Z06 Left Trailing in Twin-Turbo Lambo's Wake.

It never stood a chance.

With almost 500 horsepower, the Corvette Z06 is no slouch. Yet it has absolutely no chance against its adversary in this particular street battle. The twin-turbo Lamborghini that it came up against had a claimed power output somewhere in the region of 1,700 horsepower – that's over three times the Vette's 7.0-liter V8 could manage. According to the guys at High Tech Corvette, the Z06 was pushing pretty hard when the Lambo decided it had enough child's play.

And yet, as you'll see in the vid, it doesn't have a chance of keeping up.
