Fiat 500 five-door hatchback to be launched in 2015 - report.

Should replace the Punto

New details are starting to emerge about the Fiat 500 five-door hatchback.
Set to replace the aging Punto, the 500 five-door is expected to be heavily based on the standard model but ride on an extended platform. The car will reportedly be launched in 2015 and feature styling that closely echoes the rest of the 500 lineup.
Engine options will likely carryover from the standard model so expect a variety of petrol and diesel options.
Fiat's global design boss declined to confirm the existence of the model but told Auto Express “There are some rumors in the press about the five-door 500, but what we know for sure is that next year we’ll have the 500X. We already have the 500L so we won’t stop there; it’s reasonable that there’ll be further additions.”
