They may be more expensive to own but does that mean they're not fun to drive?
According to Consumer Reports, the Nissan Armada isn’t a very good car to buy. Despite being a solid large SUV, the Armada also drinks a lot of fuel, a fact CR doesn’t like very much. Getting only 13 miles a gallon and $1.20 a mile to operate has helped earn the Armada a spot on CR’s latest shit list. Along with a top pick in each car category, the publication has also reserved a spot at the bottom for the worst car. The Armada wins the latter for its segment.
Other worst cars by category, according to CR, are the VW Beetle 2.5 (compact/subcompact cars), the NissanAltima 3.5 SL (midsize), Ford TaurusLimited (large), BMW 750Li (luxury), Chevy Camaro convertible 2SS V8 (sports cars), Chrysler Town & Country Touring-L (minivans), Ford Escape SE 1.6 turbo (small SUVs),Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara (midsize SUVs), and the Ford F-250 Lariat V8 (pickup). The whole point CR is making is that just because a car may be cheap doesn’t mean it’s a good value.
