Leaked 2015 Ford Mustang body code doc confirms Shelby GT350.

The 2015 Ford Mustang has already revealed many of its secrets to the world, though more is expected when the new pony car makes its public debut in just a few weeks at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. So what could still be in the bag?

The team at Mustang6G thinks they have a very good idea, thanks to the body codes they've uncovered in what appears to be a leaked internal document for the new Mustang.

The codes indicate all the usual suspects will be there, including V-6 and V-8 coupe and convertible models, but also point to a Shelby coupe and convertible. The best intel so far on the next-generation Shelby Mustang makes a GT350 badge seem likely.

You might notice there's no four-cylinder turbo model listed in the body codes, even though a 305-horsepower turbo four has already been confirmed for the 2015 Mustang. The Mustang6G crew thinks that's just an indication that the EcoBoost four-cylinder will be an engine option for the V-6 base car, rather than having its own body code--which makes sense to us.
