A thoroughly boring luxury sedan transformed into a hypercar.
There have been certain engines which, at different periods, have become legends in the world of tuning. One such towering legend of recent history is Toyota’s 2JZ inline-six, which was most famously used in the Supra. But it had other applications, and here we see one in a Lexus GS sedan, albeit tuned to have about 1,000 horsepower at the wheels. Truly a monumental sleeper.
We also get a chance to see it on the street for a bit, where it has no difficulty outrunning what would otherwise be the hottest cars at this particular meetup.
