2014 Hyundai Azera receives 1,250 USD price cut, gains more standard equipment.

Starts at 31,000 USD

Hyundai has announced a significant 1,250 USD price reduction for the 2014MY Azera which now comes with additional standard equipment.
The 2014 Hyundai Azera begins at 31,000 USD and is offered as standard with a six-inch color LCD with rearview camera. For the same money you also get a driver blind-spot mirror and a new electroluminescent gauge cluster with color LCD trip computer.
The Limited version (from 34,750 USD) now comes with an eight-inch navigation system as well as power-folding side mirrors. Other goodies offered without extra costs are the second row air vents, dual automatic temperature control, cooled glove box and front heated seats (optional rear heated seats available).
Power comes from the same direct-injected Lambda II V6 3.3-liter engine delivering 293 bhp (218 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 255 Nm (188 lb-ft) of torque at 5,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC manual control and has support for an Active Eco mode which if enabled will improve fuel economy by tweaking the engine and transmission settings.
Hyundai says the updated Azera will do 19 mpg city / 29 mpg highway / 23 mpg combined. It rides on 18-inch alloys with 245/45 R18 tires but can be optionally configured with 19-inch wheels shod in 245/40 R19 rubbers.
