2015 BMW M3 and M4 pricing announced (US)

Both share a 431 HP six-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo

BMW USA has disclosed pricing information for the 2015 M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe.

First up, the all-new M3 is 5,350 USD more expensive than its predecessor so customers will have to pay 62,925 USD if they want the car without any extras. Opt for the carbon ceramic brakes and price is bumped by 8,150 USD while the Driver Assistance Package is an additional 1,900 USD and brings side-view camera, autonomous braking, lane departure warning system and blind spot monitoring. BMW is also offering an Executive package for 4,300 USD encompassing a backup camera, head-up display, heated rear seats, parking sensors, heated steering wheel, headlamp washers, keyless entry and satellite radio.

Moving on to the M4, this one kicks off at 65,125 USD so it is 2,800 USD pricier than the previous M3 Coupe. It's offered with just about the same optional goodies as the sedan and can be configured with 19-inch alloy wheels priced at 1,200 USD while for an additional 1,000 USD it can receive an Adaptive M Suspension.

The standard carbon fiber roof of both cars can be swapped with a regular one that has a sunroof without having to pay extra. It should be mentioned that if both cars will receive a gas-guzzler tax, pricing will be even higher taking into account customers of the previous M3 had to pay an extra 1,300 USD due to these taxes.

As a reminder, both of them make use of a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine outputting 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) which can work with either a standard six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed M DCT dual clutch gearbox for those willing to pay 2,900 USD.

Both do the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 3.9 seconds with the automatic and in 4.1 seconds with the manual gearbox on their way to an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) or 174 mph (280 km/h) with the optional M Driver's Package.
