The wait is almost over
Alfa Romeo is returning to the United States as the New York Auto Show has confirmed the brand will exhibit the 4C at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
There's no word on when U.S. sales will begin - although a June date has been rumored - but New York Auto Show Chairman John LaSorsa said "The recent announcement that Alfa Romeo is returning to the market and has chosen the New York Auto Show to mark the occasion is very special for us and will be well received by our visitors."
As we have previously reported, the 4C has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 240 HP (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the 895 kg (1973 lb) sports car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph).
