Bentley teases first ever SUV, due in 2016

Plans on being the 'most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market'

Bentley has released a teaser image for the company's first ever SUV slated to come out in 2016.
It was 2012 when Bentley revealed the EXP 9 F SUV concept at the Geneva Motor Show, effectively announcing everyone the company's plans to attack the competitive SUV segment. Bentley says the model will be the "most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market" and "it will create a completely new segment in the SUV market."
They already got 2,000 preorders for the model even though these people haven't seen the car yet. Bentley's plans are to sell at least 3,000 units each year and to reach this figure they plan on investing 800M GBP in the next three years.
The attached teaser photo shows a typical Bentley front fascia enlarged for an SUV and it is believed the rest of the styling will be quite different than the aforementioned EXP 9 F concept since that one was far from being an eye-catcher.
Programmed to reach dealerships sometime in 2016, Bentley's SUV will also get a hybrid variant in 2018 when the company wants to sell a total of 15,000 cars. Previous rumors indicated Bentley will produce the SUV in Bratislava, Slovakia but the model will be assembled at home in Crewe.
