Ferrari FXX Evoluzione goes up for sale, costs $2.2 million

One of only a handful in existence

If you missed out on your chance to buy the Ferrari LaFerrari, perhaps a 2005 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione will suit your tastes.

Currently for sale at Ferrari Maserati of Fort Lauderdale, the exceedingly rare car has a Rosso Scuderia exterior and a Nera Alcantara interior.

As the name suggests, the car was equipped with the Evoluzione Package in late 2007. The package reportedly cost $300,000 (€215,425 / £180,245) and enables the 6.3-liter V12 engine to produce 860 HP (632 kW) - an increase of 71 HP (52 kW). Besides the extra oomph, the package includes an aerodynamic body kit, an upgraded transmission and a new traction control system.

The FXX Evoluzione is only track legal and the asking price is a steep $2,190,000 (€1,572,600 / £1,315,790).
