Company says "Its stylistic paradigm represents our goals for Maserati in the future"
Maserati has released a new video that explains the design of the Alfieri concept which was recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Fiat Chrysler Global Design, "Maserati turns 100 this year. As is often the case for a company's centenary we're going to celebrate with, among other things, a concept." He went on to say the car was inspired by the A6 GCS/54 and is "like some declaration of intent to us, some kind of manifesto." Ramaciotti added, "Its stylistic paradigm represents our goals for Maserati in the future."
As a refresher, the Alfieri concept was a 2+2 coupe that featured a 4.7-liter V8 engine that developed 460 bhp (343 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque.
