Porsche CEO says the company is still considering an EV

Company has previously shown an electric Boxster

Porsche CEO Matthias Müller has confirmed the company is considering an electric vehicle.
Speaking to Auto Motor und Sport, Müller said "Yes, of course we think about it." The executive went on to say he isn't a fan of range-extended electric vehicles but he's open to pure electric models. However, he believes the range to needs to be at least 300 km (186 miles) to be practical.
As we have previously reported, Porsche introduce three Boxster E prototypes in 2011. One model featured two electric motors and a combined output of 245 HP (180 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, while the others had one electric motor with 122 HP (90 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. However they only had a range of up to 170 kilometers (107 miles) on a single charge.
