Record over $21 million sales for Auctions America in Fort Lauderdale

1963 Shelby 289 Cobra tops the bids

The 12th annual Fort Lauderdale auction hosted by Auctions America turned into a record-breaking event. The attendees saw in total $21 million in sales with a 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra, which was sold for $825,000, topping the bids.
A 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 came second selling for $605,000, while a $412,000 Ford GT Heritage Edition from 2006 became the most expensive GT Heritage Edition ever sold at auction.
Auctions America continues its 2014 calendar with Auburn Spring, May 8-10, and the Littlefield Collection, July 11-12. This year the company has achieved record high sales and over 30 percent new clientele.
