Audi RS7 Dynamic Edition revealed, costs more than an R8

Will debut in New York

Audi has unveiled the RS7 Dynamic Edition, ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show.
Designed to showcase the company's exclusive personalization program, the RS7 Dynamic Edition features a carbon fiber front splitter, a carbon fiber diffuser and a carbon fiber engine cover. The model also has a sports exhaust system, Tornado Red brake calipers and 21-inch gloss black alloy wheels.
Interior changes are relatively limited but the car comes nicely equipped with black Valcona leather seats, carbon fiber trim, Crimson Red safety belts and Crimson Red contrast stitching.
The special edition also has a DRC suspension that "utilizes three-stage adjustable dampers that are hydraulically cross-linked and integrated into the Audi drive select system along with the standard rear sport differential for maximum performance driving."
Like the standard model, the RS7 Dynamic Edition is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 560 bhp (417 kW). It enables the hatchback to rocket from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
According to Audi of America Director of Product Planning Filip Brabec, “The Audi exclusive RS 7 dynamic edition exemplifies just some of the personalization options that are possible through our Audi exclusive program. The combination of our most powerful RS model ever and the added customized elements make this a truly special car to drive and to behold.”
The RS7 Dynamic Edition will go on sale in the United States this summer and pricing starts at $146,045.
