Skoda Citigo transformed into CitiJet two-seater cabrio by company apprentices

To premiere at GTI Fan Meet at Wörthersee

Skoda is previewing a two-seater convertible transformation of the three-door Citigodeveloped by the company’s apprentices.
Sixteen apprentices from the Skoda Auto Vocational School decided to create what they describe as being the dream car. The CitiJet two-seater cabrio has been in the works since last November and received a blue & white metallic exterior paint scheme together with blue 16-inch alloys. It also comes with a bespoke hand-made rear spoiler and a dual exhaust arrangement.
Powered by a tiny 75 PS 1.0-liter MPI gasoline engine, the "Skoda Apprentice Car" features the interior cabin of the Citigo Sport so it has a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, red & white instrument panel, bespoke seat covers and floor mats together with a leather-wrapped handbrake and gear lever. On top of that, there's a 300-watt sound system and blue LED ambient lightning which responds to the music.
A full reveal is scheduled for 28-31 May during the GTI Fan Meet at Wörthersee.
