Kei cars tremble in fear as the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 heads to Japan

Will cost 80,000,000 yen

Kei cars owners are trembling in fear as Mercedes has announced plans to offer G63 AMG 6×6 in Japan.
Set to tower over the country's eco-cars, the G63 AMG 6×6 is a six-wheeled behemoth that features everything from an auxiliary fuel tank to 18-inch bead lock wheels with 37-inch all-terrain tires. The model has also carbon fiber fender flares, five differential locks and a two-tone designo interior that belies the ruggedness of the exterior.
Power is provided by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that develops 544 PS (400 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission which willreportedly enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 6 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph).
Only five models will be headed to Japan in 2014 and pricing will start at ¥80,000,000 ($783,280 / €566,080).
