Tesla Model S by Saleen design sketches released

First car to be completed this summer

Saleen Automotive has released several design sketches with their modified Tesla Model S, following an announcement made at the beginning of the month.
The tweaks begin on the outside where the electric sedan has received an Orange County Orange paint and a more aggressive body kit which includes several components made from carbon fiber such as the rear diffuser and decklid trim. It also has different front air vents and carbon ceramic brakes while Tesla's stock wheels were replaced with the tuner's signature rims.
The interior cabin has also been moderately revised with a combination of leather and Alcantara for the two-tone grey upholstery with red contrasting stitching and the tuner's red logo embroidered on the headrests.
We expect the already confirmed "mechanical enhancements" to make the Saleen-modified Model S quicker than the range-topping P85 version which has 416 PS (306 kW), enough for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
Saleen says the first completed Tesla Model S will be unveiled sometime this summer.
