Audi already exploring TT derivatives
The third generation of the Audi TT has been envisioned in more rugged "Allroad" clothing by X-Tomi Design.
In January at NAIAS in Detroit we saw Audi's allroad shooting brake concept which offered a "concrete look into the near future", indicating the third-gen TT will have more than just one member. A shooting brake version is currently being considered and Audi board member for technical development Ulrich Hackenberg recently said "future TT derivatives" are already being analyzed.
Seen here is X-Tomi Design's vision of an all road TT equipped with black plastic body cladding, underbody protection, larger wheels with semi off-road tires and a slightly raised ride height to better tackle the bumpy roads.
The next logical step for the all-new TT is the range-topping RS version previewed earlier this month in Geneva with the TT Quattro Sport concept packing 420 HP (309 kW) from a TFSI 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine.
