Five-star Ferrari-themed hotel included
Ferrari has announced plans to build a new theme park inside the PortAventura resort located near Barcelona, Spain.
Set to open its doors sometime in 2016, the new Ferrari Land theme park will cover no less than 75,000 square meters and will include the fastest-accelerating and highest vertical roller-coaster on the old continent. In addition, the world's first Ferrari-themed five-star hotel will be constructed within the PortAventura resort and will have 250 rooms, restaurants as well as a driving simulator.
Ferrari chose this location because PortAventura attracts approximately four million visitors every year, with half of them coming from outside Spain. The entire project will require an overall investment of 100 million euros and will be a follow-up to the Ferrari World theme park in UAE which was inaugurated back in 2010.
