A legendary name is about to retire
According to a recent report, Jaguar will kill off the XK to focus on newer models like the recently announced XE.
Details are limited but Autocar is reporting XK sales have dropped to approximately 4,000 units annually following the launch of the F-Type. This has reportedly pushed the automaker to decide to phase out the model this summer.
Despite the model's impending death, there is a chance it could be revived later down the road. Nothing is official but Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum has previously suggested "It could grow into the luxury market and grow in size."
