Named after a fighting bull that showed "outstanding courage and strong sense of attack"
Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Huracan LP 610-4 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to replace the Gallardo, the Huracan is named after a fighting bull that showed "outstanding courage and strong sense of attack."
As for the car itself, it has an aggressive exterior that borrows cues from the Aventador andSesto Elemento. Notable highlights include full LED headlights, aggressive air intakes and a four tailpipe exhaust system.
The interior is significantly improved with higher quality materials and modern components. However, the biggest change is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that shows all the useful information as well as infotainment and navigation data.
Power is provided by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 610 HP (448 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 0-200 km/h in 9.9 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 325 km/h (202 mph). The model also has an engine start/stop system which enables the car to average 12.5 L/100km (18.8 mpg US / 22.5 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 290 g/km.
Lamborghini is currently accepting orders and the first deliveries are slated to occur this spring.
