Touring Superleggera Disco Volante gets fresh paint for Geneva

Based on the Alfa Romeo 8C

The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante will be showcased next week at the 84th Geneva Motor Show with a different paint scheme.
The Alfa Romeo 8C upon which the Disco Volante is based is a gorgeous car but Touring Superleggera's version takes the styling to a whole new level. The concept debuted in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show and one year later it went into a limited production series with the manufacturing process taking about six month for each car.
Now, Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is ready to show the Disco Volante with a new exterior paint consisting of a green main color with gold accents and trimmings. Inside it has received a combination of brown, gold and black creating a tasteful color combination for a very refined cabin.
Motivation is provided by the 8C's V8 4.7-liter engine with 450 HP (331 kW) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed sequential gearbox and enables the Disco Volante to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds en route to a top speed of 181 mph (290 km/h).
