Lacks more oomph
Citroën has introduced in China a sportier-looking version of the c-Quatre (C4) called VTS.
The c-Quatre is a China-only sedan based on the first generation C4 and is now available in a VTS version which adds a rather tacky body kit. We notice the quad exhaust setup which is exaggerated taking into account the model is exclusively available with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine outputting a rather modest 147 bhp (110 kW).
It rides on the same alloy wheels as the standard car, but can be visually distinguished by its red rear wing, larger side skirts, front & rear lower bumper attachments, red racing stripes and faux air vents on the hood.
The 2014 Citroën c-Quatre VTS has a starting price of 113,800 yuan (about 18,300 USD) and goes all the way up to 135,800 yuan (22,000 USD).
A more interesting Citroën sedan with true sporty aspirations is the upcoming 300 bhp DS 5LS R concept set to be unveiled later this month at Beijing Motor Show.
