Hyundai 'AG' luxury sedan spied, will be unveiled next month

For South Korean market

A new luxury sedan wearing the Hyundai badge was spotted recently, ahead of its debut towards the end of next month.
It seems Hyundai is just about ready to introduce a new luxury sedan at home in South Korea. The model is currently known as the "AG" and will ride on Grandeur/Azera platform but will be a bit larger and will slot between the Grandeur and Genesis. Pricing is expected to be in the low-to-mid 40M won (about 37,800 USD) to compete with the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Many of the tech goodies and luxury appointments will be carried over from the bigger Genesis while under the hood it could get the 3.3-liter GDI engine.
The Hyundai "AG" will be unveiled – probably as a near-production concept - at the end of May during the 2014 Busan International Motor Show in South Korea. If feedback will be positive, sales will kick off in the second half of the year.
