McLaren 650S Coupe & Spider pricing announced (US)

McLaren has released pricing information for the 650S Coupe and Spider, ahead of their North American debut at the New York Auto Show.

In the United States, the 650S Coupe will be priced from $265,500 while the 650S Spider will retail for $280,225. Likewise, Canadians will have to shell out $287,000 for the Coupe and $305,500 for the Spider.

Regardless of which model is selected, both have an extensive array of standard equipment that includes everything from Alcantara upholstery to carbon ceramic brakes.

As a refresher, both models feature a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops 650 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed SSG transmission which enables the Coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph). The Spider also runs from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.0 seconds but has a slower top speed of 329 km/h (204 mph).
