Replica KITT formerly owned by David Hasselhoff up for auction

16,000 USD current bid

A replica KITT car of the 80s hit show Knight Rider is now up for grabs and the current bid stands at 16,000 USD.
It's not one of the cars used for the actual show as the vehicle was built by a Knight Rider fan named Jennifer Catano who gave the car to David Hasselhoff. This is a very accurate replica and comes with the usual features such as scissor doors, a yoke-style steering wheel and a dynamic ride height.
It also has the impressive digital dashboard and console along with KITT's distinct exterior lightning. It has been preloaded with more than 4,000 sound bites from the show and is powered by a V8 5.0-liter engine sending its output to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox.
The replica KITT had a starting price of 15,000 USD and at the moment of writing the highest bid is of 16,000 USD. The seller estimates it will fetch anywhere between 30,000 and 50,000 USD and the person who will purchase the car will also have to pay the transport charges from the car's current location in Ireland at the Museum of Style Icons.
