Young driver of Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 ends up in community pool

Traction control was off

A brand new 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 fell into a community pool in Harris County, Texas.
Ashton Brantley was driving behind his friend who crashed the ZL1 and told reporters the 580 bhp Camaro was speeding and had the traction control probably turned off. Ashton explains at one point his friend "hit the curb, and then went into the fence, and then he hit the pool."
The driver of the 57,650 USD Camaro managed to crawl his way out of the flooded car through the opened window and didn't sustain any injuries. He is now facing several charges such as speeding and property damages (including any chemicals spilled from the ZL1 into the swimming pool's water).
A tow truck driver was in charge of getting inside the swimming pool to attach chains to the ZL1 before extracting it.
