2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe shows its stylish metal in Geneva

Available at first only as an S 500 model

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has made its official public debut this week for the 84th Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.
The most important member of Mercedes-Benz's lineup for the Swiss auto show is without any doubt the S-Class Coupe revealed online about a month ago. Looking very stylish and sleek, the CL-Class replacement is an elegant two-door coupe which is 5027mm long, 1899m wide and 1411mm tall, with a generous 2495mm wheelbase.
Some say the rear end shows a few similarities with the Renault Laguna Coupe but nevertheless the S-Class Coupe is one of the most beautiful cars to wear the three-pointed star. Mercedes-Benz previewed the model in September last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany with a concept and now they are getting ready for the car’s market launch programmed for the second half of the year.
The German marque has announced at first it will be available exclusively as an S 500 Coupe model powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine outputting 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). Among the car’s highlights we must refer to the MAGIC BODY CONTROL’s curve tilting function and the availability of optional headlights with 47 Swarovski crystals.
