Paul Walker’s Fast and Furious 7 scenes to be replaced with CGI

Movie airs on April 10, 2015

A source close to Universal Studios has shed some light regarding the character formerly played by Paul Walker in the Fast and Furious franchise.
At the beginning of the year there was a report about Universal Studios' plans to retire Paul Walker’s character in Fast and Furious 7. However, it now seems Brian O'Conner will "live on" courtesy of computer generated imagery (CGI). The same source indicates movie producers hired "four actors with bodies very similar to Paul's physique and they will be used for movement and as a base" while CGI will be implemented for Paul's face and voice.
Universal Studios apparently believes fans of the movie franchise will be satisfied with this decision, although lots of people will find this solution a bit creepy. A more appropriate method would be to rewrite the script and retire Brian O'Conner taking into account he is now a father and wants to protect his newly formed family.
Fast and Furious 7 is slated for a April 10, 2015 release.
