Models will include everything from the Audi A4 to the Volkswagen Passat
Volkswagen has announced plans to launch a variety of new models in 2014 and 2015.
As part of their goal to sell ten million vehicles annually, Volkswagen confirmed their brands "will be launching more than 100 new models, successors and product enhancements." The company declined to go into specifics but confirmed the models will include the Audi A4 andQ7. We can also expect a new Volkswagen Passat and redesigned versions of the Skoda Fabia and Superb. Last but not least, we will see a new SEAT Ibiza and a Porsche Cayenne Plug-in Hybrid.
The latter model will likely be based on the facelifted Cayenne and feature the same powertrain as the Panamera E-Hybrid. This means we can expect a 320 HP (235 kW) 3.0-liter V6 engine, a 95 HP (70 kW) electric motor and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery.
