Mercedes-Benz C-Class L photographed virtually undisguised

To have a 2900mm wheelbase

The long-wheelbase 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been spied in China, prior to its official launch in less than two weeks at Beijing Motor Show.
Last month we saw a C180 L wrapped around in white camouflage and now we take a look at a C260 L equipped with the AMG Line kit. The vehicle spotted here is virtually undisguised as it only has some white tape on the headlights, taillights and grille.
The C-Class L version has a 2900mm wheelbase which makes it 60mm longer compared to the regular 2014 C-Class (W205). Rear passengers will benefit from additional leg room as a result of the stretched wheelbase.
Set to make it official debut on April 20 at the Beijing Motor Show, the C-Class L will go on sale in the second half of the year and will have to compete with the Audi A4L, BMW 3Li and Volvo S60L. This is the first time Mercedes-Benz is building a long-wheelbase C-Class and production will take place in China at the Beijing-Benz joint venture.
