Torque bumped by 30 Nm
Edo Competition has recently finished work on an upgrade kit for the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S.
The aftermarket package starts out with a power boost for the 3.8-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine which now delivers 590 PS (434 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft), considerably more than the stock configuration that generates 560 PS (412 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). Besides the added power, this particular 991 generation Turbo S has new sport shocks which have brought the car closer to the road by 30 mm.
It sits on a fresh set of one-piece forged 20-inch wheels and at the back it has gained a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Dressed in a lovely black paint with red accents, the Edo-tuned 911 Turbo S sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and tops out at 203 mph (327 km/h) whereas the Sport Chrono Package-equipped stock 911 Turbo S does the sprint in 3.1 seconds and has a maximum speed of 198 mph (318 km/h).
